Final press release
On October 8-9, 2020, the second Scientific and practical conference of scientists from Russia and Croatia (hereinafter referred to as the Conference) was held in the video conference format. The main part of the participants – Croatian scientists and researchers gathered at the University of Dubrovnik, where video communication was provided with their Russian colleagues in Moscow. The conference was held pursuant to the agreement reached during the ninth meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Croatian Commission on economic and scientific-technical cooperation in November 2019 in Moscow (order of the RF Government No. HT-L2-111 dated 14 January 2020), supported by the Ministry of science and higher education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of science and education of the Republic of Croatia. Event operator: nust MISIS. The Conference program included a Plenary session, three thematic sections: Biomedicine and Biotechnology, Alternative energy sources. Energy, Information and communication technologies, as well as poster presentations and presentations. The number of registered participants on the website of the Conference was 267 people. 100 people participated in person, including representatives of 10 regions of Russia, foreign scientists-80 people and 30 young scientists and specialists. At the Plenary session, representatives of the ministries of the two countries made greetings, and major scientists made reports. A total of 20 oral and 25 poster presentations were made during the conference. The results of the conference, as a form of exchange of research results, will contribute to the development of cooperative relations between Russian and Croatian research organizations, and practical business interaction between scientists from the two countries.
